The island is a protected national park: hiking trails, the 14th-century castle above the harbour, quiet coves for swimming — and the trip finishes at the Blue Cave, where the water glows an unreal blue.

It depends on the ticket you choose: "from Arenal" boards at the Life & Sea office at the end of Arenal beach (10:15, return around 18:30); "from Can Pastilla" boards at the Club Nautic Can Pastilla entrance (10:00, return around 18:15).
